Alcúdia de Crespins is a town in the south of the province of Valencia, in the district of La Costera. Thanks to its railway station it is very well connected by train to Valencia, with services every 30 minutes. In addition, from Xàtiva station there are medium-distance trains to Spain's main cities.

Close by are the A-7 motorway, which runs from the north of the country along the Mediterranean (Barcelona, Tarragona, Castellón and Valencia) down to the south (Alicante, Murcia, Almería and so on), and the A-35 motorway towards Alicante (inland), Albacete and Madrid.

Its industrial estate, El Canari, covers approximately 224,000 sqm. It has direct access on and off the A-35 and is home to a large number and variety of companies.

Climate: although the climate is Mediterranean, being inland and set among valleys means the summers are hotter and the winters colder than in coastal towns. In summer it is quite common for Alcúdia and Canals, along with Xàtiva, to record the highest temperatures in the area.

As for places of interest, perhaps the best known is the source of the Los Santos river, where the water can sometimes be seen rising from the ground. The river runs through the municipality, passing the neighbouring town of Canals before flowing into the Cañoles river within that municipality. There is also a natural beauty spot along the river, a lovely area for enjoying nature on walks nearby. Beside the riverbed there is an area with benches and tables, as well as a spot built in natural stone for cooking paellas or barbecues and a play area for children.
